Rest on the bank of the river Bārta. The recreation center is designed to allow families, friends, companies and other companies to relax from the noise of the city and enjoy the wonderful nature right next to the beautiful river. The campsite has a guest house and well-equipped camping houses overlooking the river valley, tent and camper sites, as well as boat moorings on the river banks.

There are football and volleyball courts, a trampoline and a swing in the area. Rental boats are available.

A camping site in Mersrags offers houses for two or four people, places for tents and trailers (without connection), as well as numerous opportunities for rest and activities. At the site one can find a pond, a volleyball playground, a place for the campfire. The distance from each of the houses to the facility house (2 shower rooms and 2 WCs) is 50 m. The guest house Depo is situated in the authentic recreation rooms of the Soviet locomotive brigade, on the second floor of the depot’s administrative building, next to the very popular tourism object – the train  Gulbene- Aluksne. The guests of the Depot are also offered  lodging in other not so traditional places – the saloon carriage of the leader of the Estonian communist party, in the tents on the territory of the depot or on one of stops on the route of the stations of the narrow-gauge train Gulbene – Aluksne (by previous agreement).

The Jaunpils Castle crusaders built in 1301, and its ancient appearance has remained in place to the present day.  The ancient walls offer leisure in Medieval apartments and modern rooms, along with event halls and tours led by characters from the castle’s history.  A Medieval saloon welcomes guests every day.  This is such a romantic place, because the castle is 700 years old.

Ragaciema Skadiņi is an old fisherman's homestead, the name of which is already mentioned in the census documents of 1826. At present, the old fisherman's farm is ready to welcom guests for overnight stays in wooden houses: 2 four-bed houses with 2 rooms, 1 six-bed house with 3 rooms, an old fisherman's house - Vilma's house (for 6-8 persons) and a sauna house (for 6-8 persons). Nearby is the famous Ragaciems fish market, grocery stores, bus stop. Within a few minutes walk there are 3 lovely pubs for great delicious meals (Ribas, Bermuda, Friends boat).

Nearby are the hiking trails of Ķemeri National Park, Lake Kaņieris with a bird-watching tower and the Lapmežciems Museum, where you can learn about the history of the surrounding fishing villages. Only 280m to the sea, beach next to Ragaciema sedums.
