The Milk Estate at the Berghof Sports Complex.  Two tennis courts and a complex field for tennis, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, handball, badminton and floorball.  The fields are covered with artificial grass and are well lit when it is dark.

The Milk Museum offers a unique exhibition with all possible information about milk – where we get it, as well as how butter, cottage cheese, cheese and other products are made.  Come and try your hand at milking a cow or churning up some butter!

“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins.  There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes.  There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends.

A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river.  It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people.  There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them.  There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well.  There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower.

Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine.  SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table.

If you have a desire to escape from the urban crowd and noise, to enjoy the sun and the sea, to get a breath of pine forest, to watch lamprey fishing in the river Svētupe to go out for picking up mushrooms, to ride a bicycle or go skiing, to be inspired by the Svetupe flood-time, to feel odour of  fresh and smoked fish then plan your holidays accompanied by) your family and friends and come to the sunset beach – „Vējavas”.

Vējavas is located at the Svētupe`s  fall into the Rīga Gulf,  on the motorway Rīga – Tallinn 90th km, 10 km before Salacgrīva.
