Хозяйство «Леяс» расположено на берегах древнего Балтийского ледникового озера, где можно поговорить с эхо и наблюдать за солнечным закатом. В необычном хозяйстве, где еще совсем недавно не было электричества (использовали свечные фонари и керосиновые лампы), все делают вручную и предлагают понаблюдать за доением козы, отделением сметаны и приготовлением сыра, принять участие в запряжке лошади, опробовать старинные радели (санки на колёсах), а также поработать косой и серпом. Можно понаблюдать за выращиваемыми в латвийской деревне домашними животными. Сельский двор проводит летние школы для детей и подростков. |

Хозяйство «Страути» находится в восточной части Эмбутской холмистой местности. С юга его окружают широкие лесные массивы, в которых обитают многие животные Латвии, встречающиеся в дикой природе. Рядом с хозяйством расположены корпуса бывшей птицефермы. В хозяйстве разводят племенных кроликов, овец, домашнюю птицу разных видов, а также две дошади и пони. На полях хозяйства пасется стадо коров, в котором кроме разных пород коров можно увидеть также и Латвийскую Синюю корову. Хозяйка предлагает экскурсии для групп школьников и другим желающим. Заранее договорившись, можно приобрести мясо кролика, овечью шерсть, а также овощи, выращенные в хозяйстве. Биологическое хозяйство. |

Находится в сквере возле Скрундского дома культуры. Установлен в 2005-м году в честь победы полковника О. Калпака и его батальона над большевиками в Скрундском бою. Во время Борьбы за независимость Латвии 22-го января 1919-го года большевики захватили Скрунду. 29-го января батальон Калпака из Рудбаржского поместья выступил в направлении Скрунды. После трехчасового боя он одержал победу, захватив стратегическую позицию вдоль берега Венты. Это была первая победа батальона Калпака после многократных отступлений, что вдохновило на дальнейшую Борьбу за независимость Латвии. |

For more than a century now, the Gūtmaņa cave has been a popular tourist destination. It is the widest (12 m) and highest (up to 10 m) cave in Latvia. It is more of niche, actually, because its depth is just 18.8 metres. The cave is an interesting geological monument, as well as an important cultural and historical place with lots of legends, among which the most popular one centres on a woman called the rose of Turaida. It seems, however, that of the greatest historical values are the engravings on the walls and ceilings of the cave. The oldest date back to the late 17th century. A stream flows out of the cave, and it continues to shape it. People believe that the water from the stream has medicinal properties. Nearby there is Tourist Information Centre Gutmanala. These sandstone cliffs were once known as the Pieškalni or Pieškaļi cliffs. They are around 7 km to the North from the centre of Cēsis. These are the most monolithic sandstone cliffs in the Baltic States – around 700 m long (with some 330 m along the Gauja River) and a maximum height of 22 m. There is a viewing area which offers a grand view of the Gauja River valley. Water tourists will boat up to the majestic wall of the cliff and will be surprised at what they see! The name of the cliffs, Ērģeles, is the word for "pipe organ" in Latvian, and the name was supposedly given to the cliffs because of the echoes which can be heard there – they reputedly sound like an organ. Hikers and boaters must be very careful when in this area – please make sure that you are safe! Please note, too, that the infrastructure of the cliff is scheduled to be renovated in 2012. |

The ship "Baltā Kaza" transports tourists along the Daugava and also acts as a ferry from Jaunjelgava to Skriveri. In the summer season it runs at regular times. Суйты отличаются яркими народными костюмами, выразительной манерой общения, своеобразным этнографическим пением с тянущимся звуком ”ē” и, конечно же, остроумной манерой исполнения песен. Культурное пространство суйтов включено в список нематериального культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО. |

Tiskādi Orthodox Church is the cultural monument of the local significance. The construction works of the building lasted from 1829 to 1878. The

Nacionālā parka galvenā ainavas dominante. Ezers ir ~ 8,4 km garš un līdz 3,3 km plats. Tā austrumu krasti pārsvarā ir ar mežiem apauguši, ziemeļrietumu krasts – purvains, bet rietumu krastā parādās apdzīvotas sētas un simpātiskā Plateļu (Plateliai) pilsētiņa, kur meklējamas skaistākās skatu vietas. Ezera krastos ir labi attīstīta infrastruktūra - tūristu mītnes, ēdināšanas uzņēmumi (Plateļos), ūdenssporta un atpūtas inventāra noma. Ūdens dzidruma dēļ, Plateļu ezeru ir iecienījuši zemūdens niršanas entuziasti. Ezerā ir vairākas salas, no kurām interesanta ir Pils salas (Pilies sala), uz kuras no 15. – 16. gs. atradās muiža. Pastāv uzskats, ka senie Plateļu apkārtnes iedzīvotāji sākotnēji ir dzīvojuši uz salas, kuru ar krastu savienojis uz pāļiem celts tilts. Jāpiemin, ka 15 gs. pirmoreiz pieminētā Plateļu pilsētiņa atradusies uz Šventorkalņa (Šventorkalnis) kalna. Apkārt Plateļu ezeram ir izveidots ~ 24 km garš velomaršruts. Tā ir ļoti laba iespēja iepazīt parku videi un ceļotāja veselībai draudzīgā veidā. |
