Die Kornkammer befindet sich am Rand der Straße Dviete – Bebrene. Das erneuerte Haus ist im Jahr 1874 gebaut worden. Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg bis zum Jahr 1929, als die katholische Kirche von Dviete erneuert wurde, wurde diese Kornkammer als ein Gebetsraum verwendet. |

Daugavas aizsargdambju būvniecību Jēkabpilī uzsāka pēc 1981. gada lielajiem paliem, kad ūdens līmenis pārsniedza kritisko - 6,3 m atzīmi un pakāpās līdz rādījumam „8,7 metri”. Šo plūdu laikā puse pilsētas klāja Daugavas ūdeņi. 2011. gada vasarā notika plašāki dambja atjaunošanas un labiekārtošanas darbi. Pie tā uzstādīja laternas, soliņus, izveidoja pastaigu promenādi un piemiņas zīmi Daugavas kreisajā krastā, kas parāda maksimālo plūdu līmeni. Uz aizsargdambja Daugavas labajā krastā ir izvietoti informatīvie stendi, kur var uzzināt daudz interesantus faktus par pilsētas vēsturi. Dambji ir piemērota vieta, kur fotografēt vai gleznot pilsētas ainavas. |

This is the oldest arboretum in Latvia. It was planned by the owner of the Skrīveri Estate, Maximmilian von Sievers (1857-1919). It has to be said that before World War I, there were two times more species of plants in the park than is the case now. The plants are grouped in accordance with the geo-botanic regions of the world. There are trails in the park, and signs showing the Latvian and Latin name of each plant are there, as well. There’s a fountain which is operated from every hour on the hour from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM from Tuesday until Sunday. On the other side of the Rīga-Daugavpils highway is the Skrīveri Forest Park with hiking trails.

Livonian Community House at Kolka was opened in 2019. It is a place where you can get to know the Livonian culture of Northern Kurzeme, learn about traditional activities, listen to the sound of the language, and get an idea of the cultural and historical heritage of the coast. In House you can organize and attend cultural events, seminars, trainings, exhibitions, and also receive tourism information. |

Im Dorf von Skulte ist ein seltenes Denkmal erhalten geblieben – Düsenflugzeug (Bombenflugzeug) aus der Zeit der Sowjetunion IL-28), das möglicherweise auch die geflügelten Raketen tragen könnte. Das Flugzeug ist auf drei betonierten Postamenten aufgestellt.

This is a site where you can try out ancient weapons – bows and crossbows (a reproduction of items from the 14th and 15th century), throwing an axe (replicas of German axes from the 13th century), and spears. Once you’ve learned how to handle those weapons, you can also forge a copy of a Medieval coin. You can try on copies of armoured caps and gloves and have your picture taken with a sword or battle axe. For larger groups, the enterprise will organise ancient sports and table games.

Die erste Molkerei von Malpils wurde 1923 gegründet. Dort wurde Butter und Käse hergestellt. In den 70-en Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts wurde hier angefangen, den ersten weichen Frischkäse in Lettland „Mālpils” herzustellen. Eine vorherige Vereinbarung ist notwendig für eine Betriebsbesichtigung mit der Verkostung der Erzeugnisse. Käsespezialitäten kann man vor Ort kaufen – im Lebensmittellager. |

To the North of the Cesvaine Castle is a park that is crossed by the rapidly flowing Sūla River. The Cesvaine castle hill is on the northern bank of the river, is around 15 m high and is covered by trees today. The grave of the owner of the castle, Adolf von Wolff, is there. It is said that he wanted to have his casket dragged to the gravesite on a sled. He died during the summer, but that was done anyway. The park features a wide diversity of trees and bushes, some of which the owner brought home from his extensive travels. |

Edgars Kārklevalks, operator of a guesthouse Pūpoli, has a restored Soviet military GAZ-66 truck in which he offers historical and informational tours of Northern Kurzeme. The route includes former military territories.

Ziemeļos no Viļāniem (Jaunviļānos) atrodas ar mežu apaudzis osveidīgs paugurs – t.s. Kaupra kalns, kurā virsotnē meklējams (ceļa uz Trūpiem malā izvietota norāde) minētais akmens. Trīsdaļīgā akmens, kas atrodas mežā, garums ir 4 m, platums 3 m, augstums 1,9 m. Lielākās daļas virspusē var saskatīt nelielu dobumu, tādēļ pastāv viedoklis, ka šis ir sens kultakmens. |

Im Rittergut Burbiškis wurde 1991 das kulturgeschichtliche Museum Daugyvenė gegründet. Das Schutzgebiet umfasst eine Fläche von 28 ha. Im zentralen Teil des Parks befindet sich ein 3 Hektar großer Teich mit 15 Inseln, 11 Brücken und Stegen. Seit 2000 findet hier alljährlich das Tulpenfestival statt, auf dem etwa 300 Tulpensorten ausgestellt werden. |

Der Botanische Garten wurde etwa 1923 begründet, als Zentrum der Botanik in Litauen. Der Garten hat eine Fläche von über 60 ha, wovon etwa 30 ha von der öffentlich zugänglichen Ausstellung eingenommen werden. |

The origins of the castle that was built in the style of Classicism date back to 1784. Later it was rebuilt into a two-story building with a portico with four columns at its centre. A new period in the development of the state began in 1993, when restoration of the buildings began. The estate currently houses a children’s village, while the mansion is now a hotel.
