Guests to the Dīķīši homestead in the Amata Parish will be greeted by several Samoyed dogs and intelligent little donkeys that will bring the guests to a place for glamping next to the pond.  You can hike down two trails of different lengths of enjoy the opportunities that exist when Latvians share places where they find mushrooms and berries.

A special adventure is creating artworks from natural materials that have been collected in the forest.  The accommodations are appropriate for people who use a wheelchair.  The lavatory has been adapted to the needs of such people, as well.

People who are interested in cultural history can tour a collection of Latvian folk costumes, trying them on and organising their own photo session.  People who enjoy extreme feelings will enjoy a ride on a quadricycle.  If you love to go fishing, bring your own inventory.  We organise fire rituals for birthdays and family celebrations, and we’ll also offer soup that has been cooked on a campfire, as well as a master class in cheesemaking.

Construction of the church began in 1830 thanks to money donated by nobleman Ludvigs Šabanskis.  The Baroque stone church is surrounded by a restored stone fence, and inside there are icons including "Heart of Jesus," "Christ's Suffering," and "St Joseph."  The church is not open to the public on a daily basis.

Der Fluss Gauja ist mit seinem eindrucksvollen bis zu 80 Meter tiefen Tal der schönste Fluss in Lettland. Über den Fluss erheben sich malerische Sandsteinfelsen. Der Fluss Gauja ist ein ruhiger Fluss mit nur einigen kleinen Stromschnellen, darum ist er für Freizeit-Bootsfahrten geeignet. Zwischen den Städten Valmiera und Sigulda fließt der Fluss durch den Nationalpark Gauja. An den Ufern des Flusses befinden sich gut eingerichtete Anlegestellen für Bootsfahrer: mit Bänken, Tischen, Feuerstellen, Brennholz und Informationsständen. Unterwegs kann man einige interessante kulturhistorische Orte besichtigen: die alte Fähre von Ligatne, die mittelalterliche Burg Turaida und das Landgut Krimulda. Bis zum Fluss und zurück wird das Gepäck transportiert.

Druvienas muižas pirmsākumi ir meklējami 17. gs. beigās. Tagad redzamā apbūve ir veidojusies 19. – 20. gs. Līdz mūsdienām ir saglabājusies muižas pils (1898. g.) un saimniecības ēkas – klētis, kūtis, kalpu mājas. Muižas pilī 20. gs. 50. gados izvietoja pamatskolu. Diemžēl sākotnējie ēkas interjeri nav saglabājušies. Pili ieskauj parks. Šobrīd ēkā atrodas Druvienas Latviskās dzīvesziņas centrs, kas piedāvā dažādas aktivitātes un radošās darbnīcas.

This is one of the largest high-type swamps (6,192 ha) in Latvia, with very distinct landscapes of little lakes and hillocks.  The Great Ķemeri Heath is of importance as an extensive hydrological system and preserver of the local microclimate.  It is also of international importance as a site for birds, as well as a major source of sulphurous water.  Along the Kalnciems-Kūdra road, which is on the eastern edge of the swamp (3.4 km from the Rīga-Ventspils highway), there is an information stand with information about the management of the heath and about the role of swamps in nature and in the lives of people.  Great Ķemeri Heath wooden pathway trail is now restored and opened for visitors in 2013.

Auf dem Pfad lernt man die Naturschutzzonen auf dem Territorium von Riga kennen, die zum Schutz der Küstenbiotope (Wälder, Wiesen, Schilf, Dünen) und der in den Wiesen der Daugavgrīva nistenden Vögel angelegt wurden. Man kann die Daugavgrīva gut vom Vogelbeobachtungsturm aus überblicken, der der einzige Aussichtsturm Lettlands ist, der auch behindertengerecht ist.

The rest complex is situated on the shore of the man-made water reservoir, and there are two saunas on the territory – the Big sauna and the Small sauna. In the building of the Big sauna it is possible to organise different events for as many as 40 people, and in summertime – till 60 people. In the Small sauna – up to 20 people. Apart from the saunas, there are offered 20 different picnic places with tables, places for grills and tents, volleyball playgrounds, boats and water-bicycles for rent.
