Der Unternehmensgrundsatz ist die Herstellung von natürlichen und gesunden Milchprodukten – Kefir, Quark, saurer Sahne, Sahne, Joghurt und weichem Käse. SIA „Elpa” ist der einzige Milchverarbeitungsbetrieb in Südkurland, der eine Betriebsbesichtigung und Verkostung der Erzeugnisse anbietet. Die Produktion kann man auch vor Ort kaufen. Im Laufe der Betriebsbesichtigung ist es möglich, Kefir, Käse, Joghurt zu verkosten, sowie Milchprodukte selber herzustellen. |

Karņicka kalns pēc savas izcelsmes nav kalns, bet gan Daugavas ielejas nogāzes daļa ar labu skatu uz Krāslavas mazstāvu koka apbūvi. Ar šo vietu saistīts traģisks nostāsts par poļu virsnieka Josifa Karņicka un grāfa Plātera meitas mīlestību, kurai nebija lemts piepildīties tā laika „paražu” dēļ. Tā rezultātā abi nelaimīgie nolemj izdarīt pašnāvību. Virsnieks nošaujas, bet Emīliju pēdējā brīdī izglābj kalpone, neļaujot tai izlēkt pa pils logu. J. Karņicka pašnāvības vietā ir uzstādīts piemineklis. Nedaudz tālāk – rietumu virzienā guļ t.s. Austriņa akmens, pie kura 1909. gadā iedvesmojies un radījis latviešu rakstnieks Antons Austriņš. |

The artist Agris Liepiņš was the initiator of the project to recreate a 12th-century Ancient Latvian wooden castle. The building was erected in 1997 on the basis of samples from the remnants of castles found at various castle hills in Latvia. This is an idealised version of the residence of Uldevens, who was once the senior official of the Lielvārde region.

In der Umgebung von Cēsis, im Dorf Līvi stellen qualifizierte Handwerker Spirituosen her, darunter Schnaps, Liköre, Brandy mit ausgezeichneten Geschmackseigenschaften und schöner Gestaltung. Das Ferienhaus Surfhunt befindet sich nur 100 m vom Sandstrand der Bucht von Riga und 70 km von Pärnu entfernt. Das Ferienhaus ist für Familien und Freundeskreise geeignet, die in der Natur wandern oder Freizeit aktiv verbringen, zum Beispiel Surfen, möchten. St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Nagļi was built
in 1862 by landlord Nābels. Some time ago, Nagļi Church was a branch of Viļāni Church. The Bernardian
monks served there. After the closing of the cloisters in 1930s, the church was served by priests.

Viena no slepenākajām vietām kādreizējā Padomju Latvijā - bunkuri ir bijušais raķešu vadības punkts un patvertne. Bunkurus izveidoja 1950. un 1960. gadu mijā Padomju armijas vajadzībām. Par atrašanos šajā teritorijā draudēja bargs sods. Celtnes izveidošanai ar milzīgām 16- riteņu kravas automašīnām tika atvesti lieli dzelzbetona bloki. Pēc trīs bunkuru izveidošanas, papildus nostiprināšanai un nosiltināšanai tos apbēra ar granti. Celtne sastāv no 2 x 3 sekcijām, kas pievienotas vidējam gaitenim. Blakus ēkā atradās skola, kad 1946. gadā tā daļēji bija izdegusi, tika noslēgts līgums ar Padomju armijas garnizonu par telpu īri. Tā Valkas pilsētas centrā radās militārais centrs un Valka kļuva par Padomju Savienībai svarīgu kodolbruņojuma objektu. Objekts pieejams tikai no ārpuses! |

Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Ozolmuiža was built in 1820 by the foundation of
counts Plāteri-Zībergi. It is a stone building with a small bell tower. The church has a huge stone altar with
four columns and a massive cross. It is a monument of state importance.

This facility is in the historical village of Pape in Southern Kurzeme. Accommodations are available in an historical granary with a roof made of reeds. It is appropriate for inhabitation during the late spring, the summer and the early fall. There are three bedrooms, a small front room and a kitchen, with two floors in all. The building will fit eight people. This is an ideal location for creative camps, plenary sessions, master workshops and other activities. There are tenting areas for as many as 80 people. The Mikjāņi farm observes local traditions and offers traditional foods such as “herring on coals,” white butter with boiled potatoes, fish soup, etc., for visitors who apply for a meal in advance. This offer is only available to groups which register in advance. |
