A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea. The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties. Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now. Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June. |

Die Betriebsstätte befindet sich auf halbem Weg zwischen Rauna und Smiltene. Die Besucher können die Betriebsräume in einem Keller besichtigen, wo der sprudelnde Birkensaft produziert und gelagert wird. Dabei wird über den Birkensaft erzählt und Videos zur Gewinnung von Säften im Frühjahr gezeigt. Verkostung von Birkensaft, sprudelnden Getränken und Sirup aus Birkensaft. Es wird auch Löwenzahnwein angeboten. Die Produktion von Birzī hat ein Bio-Zertifikat. |

In dem am Ende des 19. Jhs. gebauten hölzernen Haus, das zu einem Museum umgewandelt ist, kann man das Leben der Menschen kennenlernen, die vor mehr als 100 Jahren gewohnt haben. Hier kann man Haushaltsgegenstände, die dem Kreis Rucava charakteristische Tracht, Socken und Muster von Handschuhen besichtigen. Hier werden Abendversammlungen und Veranstaltungen organisiert, auf denen die Teilnehmer singen, spielen, tanzen und nützliche Dinge weben, sowie Bildungsprogramme Abendversammlung und Ehrenmahlzeit von Rucava mit niederkurländischen Gerichten angeboten. The leisure house “Olgas Muiža” is found in a lovely place in the Valmiera Administrative District. Guests are offered a house with all that’s necessary to enjoy countryside leisure peacefully and unhurriedly whether it is winter or summer. Guests can enjoy the rituals of a sauna, stroll through orchards, and use a gazebo for a picnic with a view of the pond. This biological farm (Bio 05-049-2008) grows berries such as strawberries and summer and autumn raspberries, as well as vegetables and grains. Visitors can pick and eat berries and look at the garden. The owners also breed cattle and have a store at which biological vegetables and fruits from the farm itself and from others can be bought. During the hay season during the summer visitors can spend the night in bales of hay.

It is the best antidepressant in the world and a great place to recharge. Bogshoes are like snowshoes – except you wear them in bogs when there is no snow. Bogshoes have been used to walk on wetlands throughout the times. These footwear allow us access to the places where it is hard or even impossible to reach by foot. |

Brantu manor is located in Smiltene county, Brantu parish. The manor was built in the 19th century, currently it is managed by Ilze Briede, who is a well-known bread baker in Latvia, and Nauris Zutis - the owner of "Pirts skola" ("Sauna school"). |

DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.
