Der Name "LAUSKIS" wurde zu Ehren des Herren Vilis Lauskis verliehen, dem Urgroßvater des Weingutbesitzers Vents Grinbaums. Vor etwa 100 Jahren hat der bekannte Obstgärtner – Vilis Lauskis Obstbäume und Beerensträuche angepflanzt. Die Früchte dieser über Generationen gepflegten Pflanzen dienen heute als wertvoller biologischer Naturstoff und verleihen dem Wein eine exquisite Qualität. Die Tour bietet Weinproben und Erfrischungen im 300 Jahre alten Gewölbekeller des Gutshofes, die von Geheimnissen und Geistergeschichten begleitet werden. Einblicke in den Weinherstellungsprozess erhalten Sie direkt durch den Eigentümer des Weinguts.
