Z/S "Blūdži” ir īsta lauku sēta, kurā dara visus tos darbus, kādus agrāk darīja katrā lauku saimniecībā. Saimniece Ināra Mālkalne, iesaistot pārējo ģimeni, gatavo sieru, cep maizi un pārstrādā dārzeņus, no kuriem taisa konservus, salātus un citus lauku labumus. Šī ir viena no retajām vietām, kur var braukt un mācīties, kā gatavot tradicionālo ķimeņu sieru. Saimniecībā saražoto produkciju var iegādāties gan uz vietas, gan dažādos Latvijas tirdziņos.

~30 types, including “White” cheese, “Cheese with seeds,” “Cheese with caraway seeds,” “Cheese with fenugreek,” “Cheese with dill and garlic,” “Special” Cheese (with mixed herbs, mustard seeds and garlic), “Spanish” cheese (with dried tomatoes), “Ukri taste” cheese (with red and green peppers and garlic,” “Champion” cheese (in honour of the family’s sons, who are rugby champions in Latvia; with dried dill, parsley, chives and garlic), two types of marinated cheese (simple and in a chili and honey sauce).  All of the cheeses except for “Ukri taste,” “Champion” and the marinated cheeses are smoked.

The Eleja creamery offers tastings of cheeses from the farm that is run by the Mālkalns family (apply in advance for the tastings!).  There are seven kinds of cheeses, including smoked and matured cheeses.  There is French cheese that has been prepared in partnership with a French cheese-making specialist, M Eribert.  Blūdži is in the Sesava Parish, 7 km from Eleja, and welcomes small groups.  The farm bakes bread, processes vegetables (tomato juice) and prepares other country goodies.
