Estonia is a country of contrasts and unaccustomed feeling. It is diverse - from hills and lakes in Ottepä and Haanja highlands in the South of the country to the North Estonia – the land of huge boulders, brought by glacier in ancient times, purling waterfalls and impressive rocks; from juniper fields in the West to the fifth biggest lake in Europe – the Lake Peipsi in the East of Estonia.
Estonia is even more surprising on its islands – about 1500 spots of land, large and tiny, in the Baltic Sea. Each of them has its own story. Also the character of the islanders is different – harmonic and calm.
