Peggy Balitsari has experience in the international tourism sector since 1982. She is co-founder of “Guest Inn”, the first network of rural accommodations in Greece that was created in 2003. This network focuses on promotion of SMEs in remote regions of outstanding natural beauty and less popular tourist destinations, offering authentic experience to the traveller and encouraging the development of rural tourism in Greece. The task of the organisation is to promote small tourist accommodation, mainly via the Internet, and to maintain specific common quality standards of accommodations by means of quality scheme. Guest Inn is an official member of EUROGITES.
