Project office of the Central European Green Belt

Melanie Kreutz studied landscape planning (emphasis on landscape ecology). Since 2003 she is co-worker of the BUND-Project Office Green Belt. BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany) is the leading NGO for the protection of the Green Belt in Germany. Since 2004, the project office is also the Regional Coordinator for the Green Belt Central Europe. She was engaged in the INTERREG IIIB-Project “Green Belt” (2006 to 2008, www.greenbelteurope.eu) and is now working within the INTERREG Central-Project “Greennet” starting in April 2011. From 2005 up to now she is engaged in the project “Experience Green Belt”, a project dealing with nature  tourism in the context of nature, culture and history along the Green Belt Germany (www.experiencegreenbelt.de).
