Vesna Čuček is head of the Agriculture Advisory Service Department with 53 advisors. She has more than 20 years of experience on farm tourism and training programs in this field. She was also a project manager of projects connected with the development of farm tourism in Slovenia: “Grenzenlos geniessen” and “Holidays beyond borders” within INTERREG IIIA Slovenia-Austria, Development of specialized offers of farm tourism, Training of farm tourism providers in Slovenia, Marketing of organic products. The institute is the leading regional organisation in the field of agriculture and rural development. It offers services to farmers like technological consulting, training, business planning, assistance in applying for financial support in the field of agricultural policy measures, assistance in establishing specialised farmers associations and runs rural development projects on the regional level. It organises training for providers, consultation on development of tourism on farms and assures professional help for the Association of Tourist Farms of Slovenia, which connects more than 350 farms.
