Cornelia Hass is General Manager of the Rural Tourism Association of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Founded in 1991, it has about 250 members with 4.000 guest beds. The members are farms, horse riding farms, manor estates, hay lodgings hostels, rural guest houses, private accommodation sites, producers of regional products and associations. The association aims at advising the rural entrepreneurs in tourist product development, creating new business ideas, marketing and distributing rural tourism offers, networking, creating several brochures and marketing materials, press work, improving quality of rural tourism offers and qualification of rural entrepreneurs. The Rural Tourism Association of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is member f the Tourism Board of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and acts as the specialist association for rural tourism in the federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . On national level the association is member of the Federal Association of Farm Holidays and Rural Tourism of Germany.
