One of the largest rabbit breeding operations in Latvia, this farm features some 25 different kinds of rabbits, both ordinary and popular. There is an open-air paddock for the animals. Rabbits, their meat, fur, skin and manure can be purchased. There are tent sites on location, along with a “rabbit sauna” and fishing ponds. Established in 1992, the Mežacīruļi farm is in the Zaļenieki Parish of the Jelgava Administrative District, alongside the basin of the Lielupe River.  The farm initially had 7.2 ha of land, 3 cows, 20 head of sheep and 6 sows.  Today it has 700 ha of land, 300 dairy cows, and a series of hothouses to grow lettuce and herbs.

This is a miniature zoo next to a tributary of the Ogre River, and most of it is taken up by a paddock of rabbits.
