Bākas uguns atrodas 21,3 m v.j.l. un tās detaļas savulaik vestas no Francijas. Pie bākas ieejas 1975. g. uzstādīta piemiņas plāksne par godu bākas simtgadei. Pie bākas atrodas bijušās padomju armijas militārās bāzes atliekas.

This is on the north-western shore of Lake Lielezers of Limbaži, at the start of the Lielezers nature trail. The tower opens up a view of the lake and its lovely shores. It is worth walking the trail, which is several kilometres long, because it is an interesting one. This is part of the ZBR.

Labi redzams no Kornetu centra. Līdz tornim var nokļūt pa taku, kas ved pāri pļavai uz uzlokas pa stāvā Dzērves kalna nogāzi. No torņa paveras viens no skaistākajiem Vidzemes un Latvijas skatiem. Redzams Dēliņkalns, blakus esošie Dzērves un Ievas ezeri, Hānjas augstiene un Lielais Munameģis (acīgākiem vērotājiem).

Based on the tower of a former Soviet army radar installation, there is an 18-metre viewing tower at the Southern breakwater of Ventspils (Medņu Street) today. The tower offers a good view of the port territory, with the sea gate at the mouth of the Venta River and the city beach. Binoculars are available at the tower. It is worth walking down the Southern breakwater to get a better look at the sea.

This lighthouse is in Ovīši, which is an ancient Livonian village. The 38-metre lighthouse on Cape Ovīši was built in 1814 and modernised in 1860, and it is the oldest functioning lighthouse in Latvia today. Visitors will get a great view of the shores of the Baltic Sea and the forests which cover them. The lighthouse also offers an exhibition devoted to the history of lighthouses in Latvia.

The area is in the centre of the Teirumnīki swamp, alongside a lake of the same name. There is a wooden footpath that crosses the swamp (800 metres). This is an excellent opportunity to study a high swamp, a swamp lake, and the surrounding environment.

This is part of a hiking trail along the Cena bog. It is on the western side of the bog, at the centre of the 5-kilometre circular trail. You can see the vast swamp, as well as a military road that was installed during World War I and is marked by an “alley” of large pine trees. Alongside the tower is a fragment of the road that was installed more recently.

Atrodas pie tilta (Akadēmijas iela 1) pār Lielupi. 1574. g. pēc Kurzemes – Zemgales hercoga Gotharda Ketlera pavēles uzsāk jaunas baznīcas celtniecību. Dievnama tornis tapa laikā no 1686. g. – 1688. g., bet 1862. g. to paaugstināja līdz 80,5 m. Baznīca nodega padomju aviācijas uzlidojuma laikā 1944. g. 27. jūlijā. 1954. g. Padomju armijas sapieri uzspridzināja ēkas atliekas. 2009. g. sākās baznīcas torņa rekonstrukcija un šobrīd tajā izveidots izcils interaktīvais muzejs (īpaši draudzīgs bērniem) un stiklota skatu platforma.

Atrodas austrumos no Alūksnes Tempļa kalna un dienvidos no Lieliem kapiem – Tempļa kalna parkā. Skatu torņa platforma atrodas apmēram 30 m augstumā virs Alūksnes ezera ūdeņiem. Labi redzama Marijas sala, Alūksnes parks, Alūksnes ezera piekraste līdz Kolberģim un Lāzberģim. Izcili ainavisks skats!

After a big storm in 2005, the nature trail of the Randu meadows was restored. It is about 4 km long, and there is a bird-watching tower which offers a fine view of unique shoreline meadows with small lagoons and areas of reeds. It is a fine place to watch migrating birds. This is part of the Northern Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve (ZBR).

It is part of the Kaltene nature trail, which is around one kilometre long. The location is of particular interest during spring or autumn migration of birds. The ruins of the Rauna castle (which was built in 1262 and was a main residence of the Livonian archbishop) have a modern viewing tower which offers a view of the impressive castle walls, the place where the former Medieval city was located, and the centre of Rauna. The local government office has the keys to the tower.
