Zemnieku saimniecības saimnieki Laima un Andris Hercbergi savā saimniecībā audzē gaļas liellopus, kartupeļus un dārzeņus. Apmeklējuma laikā ciemiņi varēs samīļot govis, uzzināt to, kā bez ķīmijas iejaukšanās aug kartupeļi, pupiņas, bietītes un citi dārzeņi, aplūkot garšaugu kolekciju un uzminēt, kas ir kas. Dārzeņus var iegādāties arī uz vietas. Saimniecei īpaši plašs ir ķirbju piedāvājums.

This nature park features Latvia’s only “Bee Trail”, where the visitor can experience the “role” of a bee. Visitors can put on the protective clothing of a beekeeper so as to observe the lives of bees in their hives. Brave visitors will be able to climb a tree with old-time beekeeping and honey extraction equipment. The park features tours along the “Bee Trail”, “The Bird Trail” the “Forest Trail” and the “Plant Trail”. Visitors can purchase and taste beekeeping products and make candles out of wax. Accommodations are available, as are a miniature golf course and bicycle rentals. |

Organic farming principles which maintain the biological diversity of the surrounding region will be explained to visitors during a tour which also offers consultations on environmentally friendly farming. Organic produce is available for purchase, and visitors can relax on the waterside - fishing, enjoying a sauna and making use of local accommodations. A herd of wild cattle can also be observed.

This is an organic farm, and visitors are invited to join in the fieldwork - gather hay, make sauerkraut, pull weeds, milk a goat, watch the geese, catch some fish and then smoke them in accordance with the farmer’s own recipe. Visitors can also help to bake bread. There’s a sauna where you can inhale the aroma of healthy grasses and drink some medicinal teas.

Brigita Lukina is well known for the healthy and medicinal teas which she brews from local herbs and grasses. She offers a tour during which you can learn about such teas and about the various plants that grow in surrounding meadows. The teas can be purchased.

Bioloģiskā saimniecība Šiļi atrodas Liepājas rajonā, 2 km no Rucavas, gleznainā Sventājas upes senlejā. Saimniecībā audzē kazas un liellopus, selekcionē ganāmpulku savvaļas govju veidošanai. Viesiem piedāvā zirgu izjādi un vērot pāvus, zosis, vistas un citus lauku sētas iemītniekus, kā arī allaž tiek cienāti ar pašmāju produktiem, tai skaitā arī pašceptu maizi. No kazu piena gatavo dažādu veidu cietos, mīkstos un svaigo sieru, kā arī dabīgas ziepes. Iespēja apskatīt tuvējo apkārtni - Papes ezeru, Sventājas Senleju, Dunikas purvu, savvaļas zirgus un govis.

At the Sēļi farm exhibition, visitors can study typical buildings and farmstead planning from the Latvian region known as Sēlija. Visitors are also encouraged to take part in old-time farm work - churning butter, using an old-fashioned spinning-wheel, doing some work in a blacksmith’s smithy. Then you can put the butter that you churned on some bread and wash it down with tasty herbal teas.

Energia (Energy) Farm beside the Navesti River is the largest Estonian company to ecologically grow and process herbs. There is a big herb centre with herbal trails, a modern teahouse, a seminar centre and an eco-spa; the farm’s accommodation features all modern conveniences. |

This farm produces organic dairy products, as well as bread from the farm’s own wheat and rye, vegetables and a wide range of herbs. The fields and hothouses produce peppers, watermelons, other melons and Jerusalem artichokes. The produce, along with medicinal herbal teas, can be tasted and purchased. Visitors can order up a batch of pancakes with honey that is also produced on the farm. Boating and rafting on the Lielā Kalupes lake, with fishing. Accommodations and facilities for seminars and parties are available.

The Indāni farm is close to Valdeķi. Visitors can pet the livestock, take a brief tour of the farm, enjoy grass teas and honey, and visit an exhibit of ancient farm, horse-related and crafts tools. Bird-watching is available with binoculars. There is a country sauna with grass switches, a pond, room for tenting and picnics, a swing set, a pergola, accommodations (up to 5 guests during the summer), and special attractions for weddings and hen parties.
