Travel directions (by car)

From Riga take A2 heading to Veclaicene. Drive to Bērzkrogs, there turn right to Vecpiebalga. Follow the signposts towards Madona, drive to Lautere. In Lautere village follow the signpost to Ērgļi to the right. Drive ca 3km and look for the signpost "Kučuru dzirnavas" on the left side.

	The “Kucuru dzirnavas” guesthouse	The windmill building (1875) is now a museum and offers well known wedding traditions. Guests can catch fish in the local pond and then cook them.
