Mrs. Asnate Ziemele is the president and founder (1993) of the Latvian Rural tourism Association “Lauku celotajs” (Country traveler) - the professional national association with the purpose of developing and promoting rural sustainable tourism in Latvia. She is a professional in the rural tourism - she leads development process as well as commercial activities for Rural tourism in Latvia. She has the experience working as the expert and project manager for several national and European rural tourism development projects. Elaborated the National quality, Eco-labelling system and Cultural sign “Latvian heritage” for rural tourism entrepreneurs, as well as is the author of the Latvian Rural Tourism Development Target programme. Since 1995 have grate experience on organizing and holding the international and national conferences and seminars for rural tourism issues.
Professional membership: Vice-president of the Board of ‘’Eurogites’’ European Rural tourism federation, Board member of European association for eco-labels VISIT.

Lisa Nilsena (Lis Nielsen), “European Ramblers Association” prezidente.
Lis Nielsen has a long experience working with voluntary organisations. President of the European Ramblers Association since 2009.
As President she has focused on the further development of the relationship between ERA and its member organisations in order to extend the mutual benefit of this relationship and furthermore focused on building the influencing powers of ERA in relation to the European Union. She is working strongly to re-new the net of E-trails and the databases behind. She had a deep knowledge of the different conditions / challenges for walking in Europe and has visited and walked in most of the member-countries. She lives in Denmark, the ERA office is in Czech Republic and the official address is in Germany. ERA is a true international organisation with more than 120 years of experiences of walking represented in its member organisations.

Getting to Lielupe train station by train (departure at 17.52 from Majori train station; train tickets are bought individually in the train station or in the train by cash only) or private transportation. Hike along the seashore (~1 h, 4 km) to Jūrmala Open Air Museum.
We can not change the weather, but real hikers are always ready to hike!
