Great place in Latvia for all who avoid overcrowded beaches as in Jurmala etc. It is quite incredible to be in the middle of summer quite alone on a sandy beach with the water tempereture as high as 23 Celsius! The forests are full of blackberries and all kinds of mushrooms [I was able to take back with me about 10 kg without too much effort for finding them]. 'Dana' is a very nice house in a small village 2 km from the Roja centre. Mrs Ludmila, the owner or the pension, is very kind; she prepares fabulous breakfasts, invites the hosts to pick fruit in her garden and even helps to grill or cook the picked mushrooms! Very good quality/price relationship.
