To help you sort out the offer and find a holiday site that would suit you best, we have graded the country homes, guesthouses and self-catering cottages in Latvia into four categories of quality. A quality category is represented by 1 to 4 butterflies shown next to the title of each accommodation site.Quality categories for country, village and guest houses
Quality categories for self-catering cottages
We started to apply the new “butterfly” quality scheme in 2005, therefore all accommodation sites have not yet been graded under it. However, it does not mean that their quality standard is lower. We do not grade accommodation sites in Lithuania and Estonia. Quality standards for hotels and castle/manor accommodations are set by the Hotel and Restaurant Association. They award 1-5 stars The most attractive "Worth seeing" sites
