Farmstead "Lūķi" is a place in Jūrkalne, where you can be at peace and quiet in nature. You can relax in the cottages in the garden or in the big house. Each place is designed to make guests feel comfortable and undisturbed. The farm has a landscaped landscape with large oaks, a tea garden, an authentic sauna and garden sheds. There is also a salon with ancient and modern handicrafts. The farm is suitable for a quiet rest or family celebration.

Holiday house "Burziņi" is located near Kuldiga. There are 2 holiday cottages in the  territory. It is a place to enjoy a leisurely stay in a romantic cottage with accommodation. In the first house, guests have at their disposal a house with two rooms, which can accommodate up to four people. The cottage is equipped with a small kitchen and everything you need to cook. The second house is bigger - with 3 rooms, kitchen and sauna. There is a pond nearby to enjoy the water, as well as carp living in the pond. The owners offer Eco SPA sauna rituals with various herbal procedures under the guidance of a professional bather.

Birch sap for Labanovski family is a popular drink already for a long time. Sap is tasty when it’s fresh, but in order to maintain its refreshing and valuable qualities,  during many years family has developed new recipes.  Moving away from the traditional spices, drink was supplemented with mint, which made the sap more refreshing, fresh for a long time and with a pleasant flavor.

If you are looking for an unusual landscape and longing for silence, head to one of Latvia’s bogs. While in some European countries natural bogs have almost disappeared, you will be able to enjoy walks full of silence in pristine bogs in Latvia. No cars, people, bells and whistles surrounding you. It is the best antidepressant in the world and a great place to recharge.

Bogshoes are like snowshoes – except you wear them in bogs when there is no snow. Bogshoes have been used to walk on wetlands throughout the times. These footwear allow us access to the places where it is hard or even impossible to reach by foot.
What makes it especially great is that bogshoeing does not require any special knowledge or skills. It is simple and suitable for people of all ages who can move around by foot.

The farm grows herbal tea plants such as blue dragon, purple cornflower, peppermint, and lavender, as well as other plants. It also offers cosmetics such as the Beāte line of facial creams, as well as cornflower eau-de-toilette. You can take an informative tour, taste delicious teas, and purchase the cosmetics.

Every healthy lifestyle enthusiast can find the secrets of fitotherapy and learn to use the plants in many different ways – making sauna besoms, aromatic pillows, healthy teas, bath scrubs.

Programme:

• Excursion to the herb garden. The Avotiņi herb garden grows more than 300 herb species. They are all used in medicine, health and beauty care, and in well-being treatments – the garden is known as ‘the green pharmacy’. Here healthy lifestyle enthusiasts can discover the secrets of phytotherapy and learn how to use plants in many different ways – making aromatic pillows, healthy teas, bath scrubs, etc. In the summertime, the colours and smells of the outdoor display of plants are beautiful. The host will take visitors through the garden to show and tell them about the plants and their uses. The excursion will end with a tasting of healthy green smoothies made from the plants in the garden.
• Depart Avotiņi herb garden for travel to Sidrabiņi country pub. The pub is located approx. 15 km from Avotiņi and the journey takes approx. 20 min.
• Lunch at Sidrabiņi. This family-run pub is located near to the Riga–Tallinn road. It is a renovated historical wooden building. The owners have a meat processing facility next to the pub, so there are always fresh and tasty meals on the menu made from smoked meat products. Smoking is a traditional Latvian method for preserving and preparing food. The meat (usually pork, but others too) is treated with spices (salt, pepper, garlic and others) and smoked on wood. The pub serves traditional Latvian foods.

Tasting of herbal teas and teaching which plants suit each individual person. Knowledge of the plants here is well combined with various healing rituals. 

Saimniecība atrodas bioloģiski daudzveidīgā dabas teritorijā. Saimniece ved ekskursijā pa apkārtnes pļavām un iepazīstina ar augiem, ar to vākšanas, kaltēšanas un tēju maisījumu gatavošanas noslēpumiem, piedāvā degustēt tējas. Saimniecībā ražo tējas pēc senas metodes.

Ģimenes uzņēmums Svētes pagastā, netālu no Jelgavas. Kopš 2019.gada šeit top dažādi Latvijas priežu produkti, kas vērtīgi kā imunitātei, tā arī veselībai. Mītavas Čiekurs produktu galvenā sastāvdaļa ir Parastā priede (Pinus sylvestris). Tā bagāta ar ēterisko eļļu, sveķiem, miecvielām, C vitamīnu u.c. vērtīgām vielām. Tiek gatavotas priežu čiekuru karameles, čiekuru sīrupa zefīri, želejkončas, priežu čiekuru zapte, karamelizēti čiekuri sīrupā, šokolādē, kā arī priežu pumpuru sīrups un tēja.

Ekskursija norisinās 90-120 minūtes, kuru laikā atraktīvais saimnieks Reinis pastāstīs par uzņēmuma vēsturi, dalīsies receptēs, pagatavos katram apmeklētājam gardu dāvanu (čiekuru marmelādi), kā arī protams- varēs degustēst dažādos priežu produktus.
Noslēgumā, protams būs iespēja iegādāties Mītavas Čiekurs produkciju par izdevīgāku cenu, kā veikalos.

Papildu pirms vai pēc ekskursijas iespējams ieturēties ar uz ugunskura gatavotu pupiņu zupu ar lauku kūpinājumiem, soļanku vai biešu zupu.

Hier können Besucher unterschiedliche Kräuter im Garten und in der Umgebung kennenlernen, sowie über deren Verwendung für die Gesundheit erfahren. Die Wirtin lehrt, wie man die Kräuter züchtet, sammelt und trocknet, sowie über die Geheimnisse von Teemischungen, Sirupen und Extrakten. Hier kann man die Tees auch verkosten. 

There is a “Talking garden” in the middle of the fields where the owner teaches there how to recognize and utilize the properties of the herbs – in phytotherapy, teas, plant pillows, baths and cosmetics.
